Beef Rendang Pindang


Another Rendang Pindang family but this time its Beef Rendang Pindang.... after 2 days of non activity in the kitchen, today decided to cook this beef rendang more than the usual just in case tomorrow is another LAZY GILER day .......

Mee Rebus

Mee Rebus a popular dish from Johore and even in Singapore however there are Mee Rebus in the northern state of Malaysia too but every state has a different version.  This is the most simplest recipe but yet its mouth watering and a complete meal.

Resepi mee rebus .....
Bahan2nya 
1 bungkus mee kuning - dicelur semasa hendak makan 
tetelan - ikut sukatan masing-masing
5 biji kentang/ubi keledek 
4 biji bawang besar
1 biji bawang putih 
Cili Kering (Cili boh/Cili blend/Cili giling sedikit
Sedikit belacan 
Udang kering ikut sukatan masing-masing
2-3 sudu tauchu 
2 batang serai 
1 inci lengkuas
1 bungkus kecil rempah kari daging 
Minyak untuk menumis
Garam dan gula untuk perasa 
2 sudu tepung jagung 
Cara-caranya

1.  Hiris tetelan dan bersihkan kemudian direbus hingga empuk.  Ketepikan. 
2.  Rebuskan kentang/ubi keledek.  Bila dah lembut ditoskan dan dilenyek halus. Ketepikan 
3.  Bawang besar, bawang putih, belacan, udang kering, serai dan lengkuas diblend halus. Kalau guna cili  
     kering diblend sekali sekiranya menggunakan cili boh ditambah kemudian bersama rempah kari daging.
4.  Panaskan periuk yang dalam  dengan minyak.
5.  Tumiskan semua bahan2 yang diblend yang dicampurkan dengan cili blend/cili boh/cili giling dengan 
     rempah kari daging dan tauchu.hingga naik bau dan pecah minyak.
6.  Kemudian masukkan tetelan berserta dengan air rebusan, gaulkan dan biarkan dia mendidih.
7.  Setelah mendidih masukkan ubi kentang/keledek yang telah dilenyek, kacau sebati dan biarkan ia 
     mendidih seketika.
8.  Perasakan garam dan gula.  
9.  Dalam mangkuk kecil bancuhkan 2 sudu tepung jagung hingga larut dan masukkan kedalam kuah mee 
     rebus dan kacau hingga sebati. AMARAN: jangan dibiarkan kuah mendidih tanpa dikacau ... takut nanti 
     bancuhan tepung jagung berketul. 
10.Bila cukup pekatnya dan cukup garam dan gulanya padamkan api.

Bahan2 untuk hiasan
Taugeh - dicelur bersama mee kuning 
Daun Sup dan Daun Bawang 
Limau Kasturi dibelah dua
Telur Rebus
Bawang Goreng
Cili Merah dan Cili Hijau dihiris bulat atau serong
Tahu digoreng sebuku kemudian dipotong dadu

Seafood Oglio Olio


As this week is Pasta and Noddle week so the week begin with Seafood Oglio Olio.  This is just simply one of  the most  simplest yet most popular in ALL pasta recipe. Usually served with spaghetti, the sauce is made by lightly sauteeing minced or pressed garlic in  olive oil, sometimes with the addition of dried red chilli flakes or chopped fresh chili peppers. Finely chopped parsley can be added as a garnish, along with parmesan cheese.



Bahan2 untuk Oglio Olio

• 1 packet pasta - Angelhair/Spaghetti/Fettucini
• Udang
• Sotong
• Lala/Kupang/Mussels
• 1/2 cwn extra virgin olive oil (minyak masak pun boleh)
• 6 ulas bwg putih dititk atau dicincang halus
• 8 cili kering digunting halus
• 3 biji cili padi
• 1/2 biji lada bangla merah dihiris halus (tak ada pun tak pe)
• 1/2 biji lada bangla kuning dihiris halus (tak ada pun tak pe)
• 1/2 biji lada bangle hijau dihiris halus (tak ada pun tak pe)
• Garam secukupnya
• Daun saderi dicincang untuk hiasan

Method for Oglio Olio:

Rebuskan air dalam periuk yang dalam dan letak sikit garam hingga mendidih. Apabila mendidih masukkan angelhair/spaghetti/fettucini hingga lembut (dente). Toskan dan lalukan dengan air paip sekejap.
Sementara itu panaskan minyak dan tumiskan bawang putih, lada bangle dan cili kering yang dah digunting.
3. Apabila bawang putih dah sedikit garing masukkan udang, sotong dan lala/kupang/mussels (jika ada) masak seketika kemudian masukkan pasta
Masak menggunakan api sederhana dan dibalik2 sekejap
Perasakan dengan garam dan terus dihidangkan 
Taburkan daun sup yang dah dicincang sebagai hiasan

Born on the 21st March 1982 ... premature ... weighing 2.9 kg ....no one knows how the future lies when everyone was watching him through the glass of his nursery bed with all leads and purple light eyes covered and no sound from him not even a sneeze.....but ALLAH swt is NEVER too far from him ... he grew up well and never a day that he has ever hurt anyone..... went through lots of thick and thin with the family but still standing tall .... now he is 29 years of age and this is one of his biggest achievement by far that makes the family proud ... as a mother every children born are a GIFT to US..... insyallah we will be compentiated...

Steamed Chocolate Moist Cake

 its chaos when the cucus come visit ..... and they usually looked forward to projects that grandma planned for them ..... never a minute is peace and quiet at grandma's when the little ones come visit ..... but I am always looking forward to be with the cucus too.... and am the most hyperactive compared to the cucus..... hehehehehehhe
